Typically ranging from between 900 to 1,700 square feet, the villas feature conveniences such as fully equipped and updated kitchens, comfortable bedrooms with Marriott Revive bedding, in-room washers and dryers, private balconies or patios, and designer décor. Many two and three bedroom are considered 'lock off' or 'lock out' units, meaning they can be divided into two separate units. These units can be split for two weeks usage per year.

Another benefit of ownership with Marriott Vacation Club is called a 50/50 EOY (Every Other Year) ownership. For a group of nearly twenty-five resorts, owners can purchase two biennial packages at two different resorts for the price of an annual ownership. For example, one could own even years at Marrriott's Frenchman's Cove, and odd years at Marriott's Horizons at Orlando in order to alternate vacations every year.

In addition to the initial investment, owners will be responsible for an annual (or biennial, depending on the usage purchased) maintenance fee, paid to the Condominium Owner's Association. These maintenance fees help in renovations, remodeling, and updating of the resorts and units.
